Description
Tasting Notes
Ripe cherry pie notes, sweet oak, and cassis. The flavors are bright and lush, the acidity on the finish gives it an uplifting finish. The oak tannins add length to the palate.

Vineyard Notes
2015 was the warmest vintage in Washington State. Each season trended on the hot side and when it was all said and done, we were setting all kinds of records. The spring was warm and mixed with a little rain set the crop up great for the season. The summer started hot and just kept on getting hotter. We were prepared for this since the 2 previous vintages were warm, but it still pushed things along quickly. Some white grapes were picked in early August and our reds started in early September. This vintage is showing a lot of big fruit characteristics.
Winemaking
I love this wine. It has this easy drinking appeal but still has nice weight. The Tempranillo is the focus here, but it is so much richer and fuller with the Graciano. Blending is always fun. These grapes were handpicked and fermented separately then barrel aged for a year. Once blended they were aged a few more months then filtered and bottled.
