Description
Tasting Notes
Dark red color. Toasted barrel notes, currents, mint and fresh herbs. This wine is layered and complex. Bright fruit notes are balanced with dense red cherries, oak, big tannins. There is a lot going on here. This should age for at least a decade.

Vineyard Notes
Vineyard Source: Coyote Canyon Vineyard AVA: Horse Heaven Hills Grower Degree Days: 3206 2015 was the warmest vintage in Washington State. Each season trended on the hot side and when it was all said and done, we were setting all kinds of records. The spring was warm and mixed with a little rain set the crop up great for the season. The summer started hot and just kept on getting hotter. We were prepared for this since the 2 previous vintages were warm, but it still pushed things along quickly. Some white grapes were picked in early August and our reds started in early September. This vintage is showing a lot of big fruit characteristics.
Winemaker Notes
So, the trend continues. A wonderful blend of 5 Bordeaux varietals to make a lip smacking big bold red. The idea is to go a little over the top but still have balance. The wine is aged 60% new French oak, so you get plenty of delicate oak aromas and flavors. Each varietal is representing in equal proportion and adds its own mark to the wine. Each sip gets better and better. A wine that will age well and pairs great with food. The dense tannins seem to go on and on.
